What is Souq?Souq is a section inside the Ooredoo mobile app that provides exclusive offers on products and services to all Ooredoo customers who access the Ooredoo app. While Souq is part of the Ooredoo app, it is run and managed by Urban Point. This is why any communication about Souq listings and offers is handled via .moc.tniopnabru%40quos
2. What kind of offers are in Souq and how do I use them?
The following types of offers are procured by Urban Point and provided in Souq for purchase:
- Buy 1 Get 1 Free (“BOGO”)
- Discounts on specific products and services
In-store credit in the form of “spend [x] get [y]”
All offers can be purchased from the Souq section of the Ooredoo app and must be redeemed in-store.

4. How is Souq different from other discount platforms?
Where Urban Point requires a monthly or yearly subscription to access all Urban Point offers, Souq operates differently in that any Ooredoo customer who can login to the Ooredoo app may purchase individual vouchers without a subscription. Once you buy a voucher, you have a certain amount of time to redeem it at the respective outlet from which you purchased the voucher.
5. What makes Souq worthwhile?Souq offers thousands of offers with tens of thousands in savings at the most popular places in Qatar.
6. Where can I find Souq in the Ooredoo app?
The Souq section can be accessed via the Ooredoo app homepage by scrolling down to the icons section where you’ll see “Souq” under a shopping bag icon.
7. How many vouchers can I purchase? Is there a limit?
This varies by merchant and will be reflected in the details of each offer listed.
8. Who can access Souq?
Any Ooredoo customer with an Ooredoo mobile number and ability to login to the Ooredoo app can access Souq.
9. Do I need to register on Souq?
Separate registration on Souq is not required. If you have already downloaded and logged into the Ooredoo mobile app, then you will be able to access Souq offers in the Souq section. You will only be asked to read and accept the Souq Terms of Service upon your first visit to the Souq section of the Ooredoo app.
10. Are the offers available for purchase outside of Qatar?
As of June 2024, all offers can be purchased and redeemed within Qatar.
11. If I don't use the full value of the Souq voucher in one visit, will I receive credit for the remaining amount?
No, customers must redeem the full voucher amount in one transaction. It is not possible to split a single voucher into multiple bills. Any excess amount not used in the same transaction will be forfeited.
12. Can I combine my Souq voucher with other offers or specials?
Souq offers cannot be combined with any other discount or promotional offer.
13. Will I be billed immediately upon purchasing a Souq voucher?
Yes, any successfully purchased Souq offer will be billed upon voucher purchase, and you will receive an SMS confirmation.
14. Can I purchase a Souq voucher as a gift for someone else?
No, it is not possible to give a purchased Souq voucher to a different user. A voucher can be redeemed only by the person who purchased it in his or her Ooredoo app’s Souq section.
15. What payment methods can I use to purchase a Souq voucher?
Souq vouchers may be purchased using a valid debit card, valid credit card, Ooredoo Money or Apple Pay.
16. Can I get a refund?
All purchases made on Souq are considered final and non-refundable unless:
There is an issue with payment processing encountered by the customer.
The merchant outlet is permanently closed.
The offer is not redeemable at the specified outlet.
In exceptional cases where a refund is deemed necessary, the refund would go back to the customer’s credit card.

18. Can I redeem Souq offers via the confirmation SMS I received?
No, Souq offers cannot be redeemed via SMS. They can only be redeemed through the Ooredoo Souq app. The SMS serves only as a confirmation of a successful purchase, and is not part of the redemption process.

2. How do I redeem a voucher once I’ve purchased it?
Redeeming a Souq Voucher is easy:
Step 1: Visit the location mentioned on the voucher.
Step 2: Before ordering, tell the staff that you intend to use a Souq voucher. Then, when you ask for the bill, present your offer.
Step 3: The staff will enter their 4-digit merchant PIN to redeem the offer and apply the discount.
In the case of Beauty & Health offers where there are multiple sessions/treatments or entries the voucher must be redeemed upon first visit.
3. Do I need to use my Souq voucher on the same day of purchase?
Typically you have 30 days to redeem any voucher you purchase, but this will be specified inside the offer’s details section if different from the norm of 30 days.
4. Do I need to make an appointment or book in advance to use the vouchers?This depends on the offer and will be specified on each offer page. Be sure to read the terms and conditions of each offer to ensure a smooth redemption process.
5. Where can I see my voucher’s validity?The voucher validity and expiry date will be listed on the offer page of each individually purchased offer.

7. How many offers can I use at a time?All successfully purchased vouchers can be applied and redeemed during visit, unless specified by the customer. The only exception is on Buy-1-Get-1-Free vouchers, in which case, Souq provides two kinds of Buy-1-Get-1-Free Offers: Primary Offers and Secondary Offers, and the number of offers that you can use at a time depends on the type of offer and number of guests as detailed below:
(1) Food & Drink PRIMARY OFFERS have 2 types:

Food & Drink Primary Offers - Type 2 may be used by a single person for takeaway, and the number used per visit is up to the discretion of the Merchant. In the case of dine-in, the Merchant will decide if offers are allowed to be used by a single person or not.
(2) Food & Drink SECONDARY OFFERS are of the structure "buy something and get something of equal or lesser value for free."

Food & Drink Secondary Offers may be used by a single person, and the number used per visit is up to the discretion of the Merchant.
In the case of a dispute, the bill must be settled as per local law. Relevant parties will be contacted for resolution.
8. What other terms and conditions are there for Food & Beverage BOGO offers?
a. The least expensive item (as listed on the Offer) will be deducted from the total bill.b. In the case of Primary Offers or Secondary Offers where the offer is “Buy 1 Get 1” of the same thing, the two items must be from the same category as marked on the Offer; e.g., buy one “main course” and get one “main course” free; or buy one “appetizer” and get one “appetizer” free, for example.c. Only one bill will be presented per table. No splitting of bills will be allowed.d. Offers are valid solely for the item listed and are not valid for special events (e.g. Iftar, Suhoor, buffets, brunches, theme nights, special menus) – unless otherwise indicated on the Offer Page’s “Details and Exclusions.”e. Offers that are redeemed by a single person require payment on the first visit. The complimentary service may be redeemed within 3 months, but it may vary depending on the merchant. Ask the merchant about its terms before using the offer to avoid any confusion.c. All offers are subject to the availability of appointments at the merchant, and appointments must be booked in advance.d. Customer must pay full price on 1st visit.e. How to purchase a voucher?Purchasing a travel offer is simple:Step 1. Select your preferred voucher type, your preferred date and number of travelers.Step 2. Confirm the payment method.Step 3. Once successfully purchased, the voucher will be saved in the "Purchased" section of your Souq app.
How to redeem a travel voucher?Please contact your operator prior to your tour to confirm the voucher redemption process. For some advanced booked and paid tours the redemption process is no longer required.
How to confirm my travel voucher is valid?Your travel voucher has specific validity dates. It cannot be used outside of the booked period. For any rebooking assistance, please contact your tour operator. No tour amendment can be done on Souq once the tour voucher is booked.
Do I need to use my voucher on the same day of purchase?Please review the specific tour details and inclusions to confirm what activities are included. For some tours, certain inclusions do not need to be completed on the same day.
How many offers can I use at a time?There is no limit on how many vouchers you can redeem at the same time. Please refer to the specific offer's details and exclusions for guidance.
