About Urban Point
Urban Point began as an MBA project before launching in Qatar in 2015. Its co-founders, Saif Qazi and Susanna Ingalls, shared one idea: that people in Qatar were spending more than they needed to on the things they loved doing most: eating out, exploring the city, and treating themselves and the people around them.
It wasn't a grand mission. It was a practical one. If we could connect people with better value at the places they were already going, everyone would benefit.
What we didn't expect was how much the idea would resonate. Within a few years, Urban Point had grown from a student project into one of Qatar's leading lifestyle savings apps, winning awards, earning recognition from the World Economic Forum, and building partnerships with some of the country's biggest names.
Today, Urban Point provides access to more than 8,000 monthly-renewing offers across 1,000+ brands in Qatar, with complimentary access included in selected Ooredoo plans.
